Alzheimer's Association Special Report: Race, Ethnicity and Alzheimer's in America

Despite decades of research and calls to action to ensure that health care is accessible and equal for all regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, geography and socioeconomic status, this aim is still far from reality for too many Americans. Reducing or eliminating disparity has been part of the national conversation as a key goal of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Healthy People initiative for more than 20 years. Yet disparity is still evident in health and health care.
